Rugs

A rug instantly brings warmth, comfort and personality to a child's bedroom. More than just a decorative accessory, it creates a soft and inviting space where children can play, read, imagine and relax. Whether placed in a cosy reading corner, beside a kids bed or at the heart of a play area, a well-chosen rug helps define the room while making everyday life more comfortable. Comfortable underfoot and designed for family living, it transforms the bedroom into a welcoming environment where children feel safe, inspired and free to explore their creativity.

Create a warm and comfortable space

A rug naturally helps define different areas within the bedroom. Placed in the centre of the room, it becomes a cosy play space for building, drawing and imaginative play. Positioned beside a bookcase, it creates the perfect reading corner, while a rug placed next to a kids bed provides a soft landing for little feet every morning.

Beyond its comfort, a rug brings warmth and texture to the room, creating an inviting atmosphere where children can play, relax and grow.

Rugs for every style

Whether round, rectangular or playfully shaped, rugs complement every type of children's bedroom. Animal designs, nature-inspired patterns, soft neutral colours and timeless Scandinavian styles make it easy to create a space that reflects your child's personality while blending beautifully with the rest of the décor.

Choosing the perfect rug

The ideal rug depends on the size of the room, how the space is used and the atmosphere you want to create. Larger rugs help define spacious play areas, while smaller designs fit perfectly beside a bed or within a cosy reading corner. Durable materials and high-quality craftsmanship ensure long-lasting comfort for everyday family life. Many of our rugs, including selected Lorena Canals collections, are machine washable, making them especially practical for busy families with young children.

Create a beautifully coordinated bedroom

A rug naturally complements the rest of your child's décor. Paired with wallpaper, cushions, lamps, a gentle night light or decorative garlands, it helps create a warm and harmonious atmosphere. Combined with a kids bed, a bookcase or toy chests & storage boxes, it completes a bedroom that is both practical and beautifully designed for everyday family life.

A rug that grows with your child

Crafted from durable materials and designed to withstand everyday use, quality rugs remain a lasting part of your child's bedroom for many years. Their timeless designs make it easy to refresh the room with new furniture or decorative accessories while keeping the same comfortable foundation that children continue to enjoy as they grow.
