Return & Refund

 

- The discounted items are neither refundable nor exchangeable.

- Any goods returned must be packed in their original packaging and must not have been used, assembled or damaged.

- We may not refund orders in case the below delays are exceeded, or if our Customer Service was not contacted prior to the return, or if the returned goods have been used, assembled or damaged.

- Please note that special orders (products that are not on our online catalogue, or personalized products - example: specific choice of colour) cannot be cancelled 7 working days following the date the order was placed. These products cannot be returned.

- In the event of delivery defects involving the Customer's sole responsibility (such as incorrect address, failure to collect parcels, refusal of parcels, etc.), the return shipping costs of the products will be charged to the Customer or deducted from the product refund. The Customer is therefore advised to verify the provided delivery information carefully and to collect the parcels within the allotted time to avoid these additional charges.

  • I’d like to return an item, what should I do?

    You have 7 working days following the day you receive the goods to inform us about your wish to return a product. Just contact our Customer Service, mentioning:

    • Your order number
    • The items that you want to return
    • The reason for the return

     

    Any goods returned must be packed in their original packaging and must not have been used, assembled or damaged.

    We will then tell you what to do.

  • After sending this return request email, what will happen?

    For items below 30kg:

    • In response to your return request email (see previous paragraph), we send you a return label to paste on the returned package. You have 15 working days to drop off the parcel at a post office. We will deduct fixed return fees from your refund amount, calculated based on the weight and volume of the products, equivalent to the initial shipping costs.
    • You may also return certain items to the Petit Bateau store in Geneva, subject to prior approval. Please contact our customer service before returning anything in store.

     

    For items above 30kg:

    • We can help you arrange the return of the unwanted goods via our furniture carriers and provide you with the transportation price.
    • Otherwise, you have 15 working days after your return request to organize this return.
    • The return shipping fees are your responsibility. These costs depend on the returned goods weight.

     

  • How much will I be refunded?

    If the unwanted goods are returned according to the above-mentioned conditions, we refund:

    Weight of the returned item -30 kg Amount of returned items – Return shipping costs calculated based on the weight and volume of the products (equivalent to the initial shipping costs).
    +30 kg Amount of returned items – Return shipping costs calculated based on the weight and volume of the products.

    NB : the delivery costs of your initial order are NOT refunded

  • When and How will I be refunded?

    If the unwanted goods are returned according to the above-mentioned conditions, we will refund you within the next 15 working days following the receipt of your items in our warehouse, using the same payment method as you have used when placing your order:

    If you have paid by credit card:

    • We will refund you on this same credit card

     

    If you have paid by bank transfer:

    • We will refund you on your bank account after having asked you for your IBAN

     

  • I’d like to return an item, what should I do?

    You have 7 working days following the day you receive the goods to inform us about your wish to return a product. Just contact our Customer Service, mentioning:

    • Your order number
    • The items that you want to return
    • The reason for the return

     

    Any goods returned must be packed in their original packaging and must not have been used, assembled or damaged.

    You will then have to organize the return of the items on your own.

  • How much will I be refunded?

    If the unwanted goods are returned according to the above-mentioned conditions, we will refund the price of the returned items in CHF, using the exchange rate of the day, banking fees - if any – are your responsibility.

    Return shipping fees are your responsibility.

    The shipping costs of your initial order are NOT refunded.

  • When and How will I be refunded?

    If your return is correct, we will refund you within the next 15 working days following the receipt of your items in our warehouse, using the same payment method as you have used when placing your order:

    If you have paid by credit card:

    • We will refund you on this same credit card

     

    If you have paid by bank transfer:

    • We will refund you on your bank account after having asked you for your IBAN
